Pastor Joshua Abetti grew up in White River Junction in a Christian home. At the age of 17 the Lord saved Him while on a mission trip to Malawi. He met his wife Jill on that same trip. They have four children: Elizah, Hazel, Cora, and Everett.
Joshua studied nursing at Biola University while also receiving a minor in biblical studies. A few years later he received his Master’s of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. After being away for 15 years he and his family finally returned to Vermont to serve at Concord. Joshua also works part-time as home health and hospice nurse in Caledonia and Essex counties.
Joshua has a passion for expository preaching that preaches Christ from “all of Scripture.” The goal of his ministry is to see people grow in Christlikeness in the local church. Joshua also has a heart to partner with churches in local, national, and international mission work to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. He has served with missionaries in Malawi, Guatemala, and Ecuador. Joshua is also actively involved with The NETS Center for Church Planting and Revitalization based in Williston, Vermont.
